Our lovely 100% cotton blue-dye fabrics are made by a folk artist in Hungary, according to traditional resist-dyeing methods used for centuries in Hungarian villages.

Traditional motifs are printed on white cotton fabric using waxed printing blocks, the cloth is then immersed in indigo dye, resulting in a detailed crisp white pattern on an amazing indigo-blue color background.

This floral pattern is called “Branches and small flowers”, and is a natural fit for sewing projects, and a great addition to quilts.

This fabric is a juried folk handicraft product, a guarantee of the high quality of its design and making.
